Gear has a framework by which funds will be made available from Gears’ success to support Indigenous people seeking to build a professional career pathway. At Gear we will commit to employ an indigenous graduate under our financial pathways program for every $25M in volume settled.
With the evolution of Gear to Gear Select, we now offer Hire and Sales options and this will provide greater employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across these platforms. We will also continue to raise employment and business opportunities within the indigenous business community with like-minded businesses within our network (funders, clients and vendor partners).
Gear is also passionate about providing innovative and affordable financial channels and products for Indigenous Australian Entrepreneurs.
By partnering with leading Australian Universities and Colleges a key component of our development platform is to provide a career pathway for Indigenous Professionals via placement programs with Gear and our funding partners to open up opportunities to gain experience and exposure in the finance industry.
